Can I use a netgear router gateway / wireless modem and not to replace my broadband modem?
My broadband modem is also connected to my phone service if I can replace the modem. The netgear v2 CG814WG acts as a modem and a router, but does not phone port. I can still use the device as a single router?
hahaha … is the same thing with Time-Warner. YES, you can (it what I should do) Connect an Ethernet cable between the modem and router. Install the Netgear software on your laptop, follow the instructions. That's it. You do not need to unplug anything from the broadband modem.
