how do I connect my fax so that I can when I 3050 Qwest DSL directly plugged into the wall?

Moved my computer – Everything was working fine until I unplugged everything and mixed son. For DSL to work Qwest said plugging directly into the wall. That means I can not use my fax HP LaserJet 3050 is supposed to be plugged into the wall outlet. The 3050 prints fine, but he wan't fax.
